best lube for ignition lock cylinders — The ignition lock on this ’80s Suzuki was sticky. I sprayed a dry lube in the lock cylinder and now the key works perfect.

Question: Who makes best lubricant for ignition lock cylinder?

I always have sticky locks in my old cars.

Whether it’s a motorcycle or car ignition or even a door lock, I always end up spraying a a lube in them. It is no fun to jiggle and jaggle keys in a sticky lock, let alone break a key off.

I have used wet and dry lubes, Teflon and graphite lubricants. All work well.
