I asked my self the same question not too long ago. My Suzuki V-Strom motorcycle’s chain was worn, and I wanted to replace the chain and sprockets all at once.
I bought a 16T JT sprocket, which had a rubber dampener. I, also, bought a 14T PB sprocket.
Both worked well for my purposes. The JT counter-shaft sprocket caused no issues and lasted many miles.
The PB sprocket worked well, too. It did not last as long as I expected, which may have been a result of too many hard accelerations and too aggressive engine braking.
