HP gains from 6.0 Vortec
A stock muffler is quiet and restrictive for horsepower gains, especially if you have installed a new cam and/or turbo in your Silverado or Sierra truck.
A good sounding muffler and headers can be less restrictive. The pipes allow that large V8 to breath and give the most HP from that Vortec.

The Flowmaster sound is synonymous with muscle cars and muscle trucks. Their chambered mufflers sound good, and I like that they have cat-back kits.
The full exhaust kit makes it easy to upgrade. Also, it’s easy to pick the right tone with their muffler sound comparison video.
I used a Flowmaster 40 series on my Silverado. The muffler had a nice low grumble at idle.
The full exhaust sounded good when accelerating and did not drone when going 55 miles per hour.
Would I buy again? 100 percent without hesitation.
