Question: I just bought a bulletproofed 6L Powerstroke. What is the best exhaust for 6.0 Powerstroke Fords. Should I get a good sounding muffler or straight pipe it?

The 6L Ford Powerstroke replaced the 7.3L in 2003. Ford used the 365 cubic inch engine Super Duty trucks, Econoline vans, and Excursions.
These engines had issues with the oil cooler and EGR cooler, high pressure oil system, and head gaskets.
Once the Powerstroke has head studs done, upgrades to the oil and EGR coolers, and upgrade to the HPO system, the truck is bulletproof. It will run just as long as as the engine it replaced.
